What is a call?

A call is you saying which way a question lands — Yes or No — and putting some Dots behind it.

That’s the whole move. You read a real question (“will this team hold on?”, “will it ship on time?”), pick the side you think is right, choose how many Dots to back it with, and you get a Call Ticket. When the question settles out in the real world, your ticket settles with it — and your record updates.

Here’s the part that matters: a call isn’t a guess into the dark. Every question you’re reading has an answer already forming out in the world, so calling it well is a skill — catching what’s true a step ahead of the room. Miss one and it’s a tough read; you go again. String enough good ones together and that record starts to mean something.

Why a call is the opposite of a spin — the long version is it’s a call, not a casino. The step-by-step of placing one is in the FAQ.
