What is a founding number?

A founding number marks how early you claimed your handle on majjha.fun. The fifth person to claim is founding #5 — and stays founding #5, forever.

The mechanics are small on purpose. Numbers go out in the order people arrive, they only count up, and no number is ever given out twice. You can’t get a smaller one later, because the number records exactly one thing — when you arrived — and arrival only happens once.

And the number is status doing what status does best: meaning something without being worth anything. No reward will ever grow out of it, no discount, nothing with value tied to it. It just sits beside your handle and settles one question for good — how early were you?

The scarcity is plain arithmetic. Numbers only count up, so the next one is simply whatever the count says when you arrive. That’s the entire mechanism — no cleverness in it anywhere.
