What is calibration?

Calibration is a real skill, and it’s the one majjha is built to reward: matching how sure you feel to how often you turn out right.

Here’s what that looks like. Say you read ten different questions and feel 70% sure on each. If you’re well-calibrated, about seven come in — not all ten, because you said 70, not 100. Land near that mark over and over, and you’re reading the world accurately. That’s calibration.

It’s also the honest answer to the oldest doubt about all this: isn’t being right just luck? One call can’t settle it — a coin comes up your way half the time too. But a long record of well-judged calls isn’t something luck can fake.

Build enough of it and you climb toward oracle 🔮, the top of the board.

The full story — why one call proves nothing, and the long, patient way your reads get sharper — is a good read today, a sharper one tomorrow. The quick version of why this is skill, not a spin, is in the FAQ.
