What is the board?

The board is majjha’s standings — the rank you hold for how well you read, built from your whole record of calls.

Here’s the part worth getting straight early: the board doesn’t rank who holds the most Dots. It ranks reading. How often your calls came in, set against how sure you said you were, across a long stretch of questions — that’s what moves you. A tall pile of Dots, on its own, moves you nowhere.

That’s deliberate. A rank you could buy would mean nothing, so the record is the only currency the standings accept — and it accumulates one public call at a time, checked against what actually happened. The board just keeps that score where the whole room can see who’s been reading the world clearly.

So climbing it is slow on purpose. Every rung up is a stretch of calls you made out loud and mostly got right — which is exactly why a high rank means something when you see one next to a name.

The top of the climb is oracle 🔮 — a rank with a whole story of its own. And the craft that moves you up it — calibration, the knack of being as right as you claimed you’d be — gets the full story in a good read today, a sharper one tomorrow.
